An eclectic mix of everything that fits nowhere else including miniatures, terrain, house rules, comics, lyrics and anything that doesn’t have a home elsewhere.

I had been looking at the flooring of the new Dark Eldar raider as a nice idea and when I saw this lid I thought it would make a great gothic style window for a terrain piece, or something to include in my space hulk corridors that I am working on. Sort of a window design for the wall of a room or maybe a window from a destroyed cathedral. Plenty of ideas, might need to buy a couple of them, and have a stack of them ready to go, after they are finished scenting my bathroom of course…

The idea of using transformer style robots as tyranids is an interesting one.

Running a simple pallette along with various sized cheap plastic models for troops could be a real winner.

Building up a stockpile of cheap robot toys could be a way to get the best option for each unit AND if all else fails the toys could be cast up to fill units in larger mobs for apocalypse scale battles.

It would also allow for necron models being used for parts (like weapons and heads) plus it could be used as a counts as force to stand in for necrons.

Additionally they could be used to stand in for the genestealers in Space Hulk to give it a different feel for a couple of games.

Work has begun on a new theme for this site. Hopefully it will be a proper tribute to space hulk and gothic spaceship themes. The plan is to get it finished and rolled out with its associated icons and banners by the end of the year.

That’s right game fans, the Space Hulk is now all sold out. Unless you can get your hands on a copy from one of the extra boxes ordered by stores, you are out of luck. Which means I missed picking up a copy myself!

Here’s hoping that they decide to run a set of the plastic miniatures as a special mail order piece.
